The Phases of the EquinEnt Pathway to Success 

EquinEnt participants will engage in a 10-week Startup Studio Entrepreneurial Training and Business Development program at AMRoC Fab Lab with over 40 hours of mentored instruction and business development support, capped by a 1 Million Cups presentation final project!

Phase 1 – The Business Essentials 

Starting a business is no easy task. It takes immense risk, mental grit, persistency and consistency to over come early challenges that can propel your business to its next level. Phase 1 – The Business Essentials provides insights, Guidance, and Applied hands on support with Entrepreneurial Thinking, Business Structures, Intellectual property, Creating a Startup Budget, Bookkeeping, establishing a strong organized business foundation 

Phase 2 – Business Growth 

Phase 2 – Business Growth, you will begin to conceptualize your target Customer segments, create customer persona’s, conduct customer surveying and discovery. As you talk with potential customers you will learn and receive feedback that will confirm or deny your assumptions about your target customers demand. You will learn how to empathize with your customers needs, becoming a customer centric business is essential for growth.

Here is where you business model really begins to build out and the vision begins to come together. This is also where your Prototypes or Minimum Viable Products are being established as you discovery what your customers truly want and need. Furthermore establishing a your Business Sales Funnels, Value Ladders & SWOT Analysis. These tools will help guide your business growth. 

Phase 2 wraps up with the final delivery of a 1 Million Cups Community Presentation and the submission of a Final 1 year Startup Budget of expenses and projected revenue.

Upon completing the EquinEnt Program, attending the learning sessions, assignments and activities including your 1 Million Cups presentation,  you’re now eligible for your tuition reimbursement and initial seed fund amount, based on your level of engagement throughout the course of the program.
